In episode 3, we tackle a tough issue, and we invite Alison Macrina to improve on our discussion from our first episode!
First, Scott and Mike discuss local politics before diving into the issues surrounding homeless patrons, with an eye toward the changes to policy in Edmonton to allow patrons to sleep in the library, and then the change back.
Then, Scott interviews Alison Macrina, @flexlibris on Twitter, the Director of the Library Freedom Project! They cover issues of security and anonymity more completely and accurately, advocating for libraries to take a more active role in anonymizing the computer activities of patrons, and touching on libraries running TOR servers.
We hope you enjoy! Please leave a comment below to let us know how we're doing!

Social Media Butterfly
Episode 002 is UP! Please tell us what you think!
Segment 1 is about using social media in libraries, including Twitter and Facebook, with mentions of other options! There are plenty of examples of what works and what doesn't, including some talk about how Ferguson Municipal Public Library used Twitter during crisis times last year.
Segment 2 has our "Nerd About Town" describing two author visits she attended, one with Salman Rushdie, and the other with Jonathan Franzen!
Please give us feedback. We want to make this thing better and better!
